The Short Stay ‘C’ Visa allows individuals who are not European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), or Swiss citizens to visit Ireland for short stays, including tourism, visiting family or friends, attending conferences, or engaging in other non-business activities. It does not permit individuals to work or study in Ireland.
The duration of stay allowed on a Short Stay ‘C’ Visa can vary depending on the applicant’s circumstances and the type of visa granted. Typically, visitors are allowed to stay for up to 90 days within a 180-day period
